Can I do the waterproofing by myself?
Unlike states like Queensland, you don’t have to be licensed to do that in Western Australia. However, in order for you to obtain a compliance certificate, your waterproofing needs to meet the Australian Standard AS3740-2010 – ‘Waterproofing of domestic wet areas’ to pass a building inspection.
